By the time the smaller patrol returned to camp, Maple had been asked- more like demanded to go see a healer. Copper had been kind with her demands and meant it more in a friendly sort of "go see a doctor kid" way that allowed no rebuttals or refusals. So with dirt and dried blood caking to her fur, the orange molly dragged her paws towards the medicine den. Not surprising that there were plenty of other cats being checked over by one of their three medicine cats. Those that weren't kidnapped during their patrols, were coming back with more injuries than she could count and it didn't sit right with her. What in the Stars name could they want with so many cats and why? Were they only targeting clan cats? What could they have done to that many rogues to make their hate so deep. So many questions with not enough answers. She was ushered to a now open bed, thankful that she'd had the forethought of using her limited knowledge of at least cleaning those wounds with a bit of water. They
Plip. The scent of ash and burned flesh clung to her fur like honey; its sickly sweet smell forever burned in her mind and heralded their arrival to any that came across the wounded pack. They were healing but even the passage of time could not rid her nose of its scent. With a taut bow of her head, green eyes stared down at one of the few herbs she’d known how to properly use; anise but she mostly used it to try and mask the scent of charred fur. With a tilt of her head she moved on leaving the plant behind and hoped she'd have more luck looking for a place they could live. Distant clouds seemed to roll in with the summer’s heat however, and while they were a welcome respite to the sun’s piercing gaze, rain would impede on her task. Her search took her well beyond the forests that they'd frequent where the lands became more haphazard and craggly. A waterfall drew her attention, off in the distance with its winding waters flowing into a rather large lake. Padding over she wondered
Freya The kingdom of Willowshire was quite different from her own. With their different customs and festivities, she thought they’d also have a distinct set of familiars that weren’t common to Corvidos. Having been relieved for a short time from his royal highness, Freya strolled along intending to visit the lodgings for familiars and ran into a speckled brown and white cat that she assumed ran the establishment. “Hello, I am Freya, I wanted to see how different the familiars of Willowshire are compared to Corvidos" She said as cerulean eyes scanned her surroundings, taking in the differences in architecture and craftsmanship of the building. It was only a curiosity that drove her here and perhaps a mundane one to some but her motives were innocent enough. She’d left off her title, not because of some malicious meaning but simply because it wasn’t required for her to do so. “Perhaps you could show me around if that is alright?” She said after a moment more waiting for the slim cat
